Common Questions
How many people can join a household?
Currently, a household can have up to 5 members. This includes the owner and 4 invited family members. Perfect for couples, families with older children, or multi-generational households.
What happens if someone leaves?
When a member leaves, they can choose to keep their transactions in the household or move them to their personal account. The household continues with remaining members.
Can members connect their own bank accounts?
Yes! If the household owner has Pro, all members can connect their bank accounts for free (up to 5 banks total shared across the household). Bank credentials are private - only the transactions sync to the shared household budget.
What subscription do I need?
Household sharing requires the Pro plan (US$12.99/month). Only the household owner needs the Pro subscription - all invited members get free access to bank connections (up to 5 banks total), net worth tracking, and all Pro features.
Can I have multiple households?
You can only be part of one household at a time, either as an owner or member. If you need to manage multiple budgets separately, consider using categories instead.
