Official Rules
Effective September 20, 2026
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAID SUBSCRIPTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
Waypoint Budget Inc., PO Box 31046 RPO Bridgeland, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 9A3, Canada (the “Sponsor”).
Open to legal residents of Canada and of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia, who are the age of majority in their province, territory, or state of residence at the time of entry, and who have held a Waypoint Budget account, free or paid, for at least one month as of the start of the entry period, that is, an account created on or before August 20, 2026. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant, including age and place of residence, before awarding a prize. Entries containing false or inaccurate information will be disqualified.
Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
The giveaway begins on September 20, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. Mountain Time and ends on October 11, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time. Entries submitted outside this period will not be accepted.
Sign in to your Waypoint Budget account and complete the entry form at waypointbudget.com/giveaway. All required fields must be completed for an entry to be valid.
No purchase is necessary. A paid subscription is not required to enter or to win. Free Waypoint Budget users are equally eligible.
Account age is verified against the Waypoint Budget account used to submit the entry, and the email address on that account is the one used for the entry. Entries that do not correspond to an eligible Waypoint Budget account will be disqualified.
One entry per person. If more than one entry is received from the same person, only the first valid entry will be considered and all subsequent entries will be disqualified.
Grand prize: One thousand Canadian dollars (CAD $1,000), awarded to one winner.
Runner-up prizes: Five one-year Waypoint Budget Pro subscriptions, approximate retail value CAD $129.99 each, for a combined value of CAD $649.95.
Total prize value: CAD $1,649.95.
Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions will be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Six winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on October 18, 2026. The first name drawn receives the grand prize, and the next five names drawn each receive a runner-up prize.
Winners will be notified by email at the address on the Waypoint Budget account used to enter, on October 18, 2026. A winner who does not respond within seven days of notification may forfeit the prize, in which case an alternate winner may be drawn.
Before a prize is awarded, Canadian winners must correctly answer, without assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor.
The grand prize will be paid in Canadian dollars by Interac e-Transfer to a winner in Canada, or by PayPal to a winner in the United States. Amounts paid to a winner in the United States will be converted from Canadian dollars at the rate applied at the time of transfer.
Runner-up prizes will be applied directly to the winner’s Waypoint Budget account as a one-year Pro subscription.
Winners are responsible for any taxes applicable to their prize.
This giveaway is void where prohibited by law.
Entrants choose at the time of entry whether the Sponsor may share their submitted responses publicly: attributed, anonymously, or not at all. The Sponsor will honour that choice. Entry into the giveaway does not grant the Sponsor any right to share an entrant’s responses beyond the option selected by that entrant.
By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this giveaway.
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry it reasonably believes to be fraudulent, duplicated, or submitted in violation of these rules.
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs its integrity or proper functioning.
This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc. or Google LLC.
Information submitted with an entry is handled in accordance with the Waypoint Budget privacy policy.
These Official Rules are available in French at waypointbudget.com/giveaway/regles, and the entry form is available in both languages. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and French versions, the English version prevails.
